As a curious and tireless traveller, with a spirit halfway between anarchist and nomadic, his work explores the ways in which places build their identity through culture: art, music, architecture, politics and ethnic minorities.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\">Promoted by the Municipality of Milan &#8211; Culture and produced by the PAC of Milan with Silvana Editoriale in collaboration with the Cloisters of Sant&#8217;Eustorgio and the Museo del Novecento, the exhibition is curated by Luca Lo Pinto and Diego Sileo and opens on the occasion of the Thirteenth Contemporary Art Day, announced for Saturday 14 October 2017 by AMACI Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums of which the PAC is a founding member by 2003.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\">The Contemporary Day has seen the Milanese Pavilion involved for over 10 years in the promotion of contemporary Italian art with the planning of monographs dedicated to artists of Italian origin, or who have chosen our country as a place of training and work, now established on the international scene, including Alberto Garutti, Silvio Wolf, Franko B, Adrian Paci, Armin Linke: a line of programming that continues today with the Luca Vitone exhibition.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\">The exhibition at PAC spans thirty years of Luca Vitone&#8217;s artistic career, bringing together his most significant projects for the first time. Modulating on the architecture of the space, the exhibition will be divided into different rooms, each dedicated to a specific body of works installed in their original version. Thinking of the entire exhibition as a medium, Vitone will in fact transform the physical space of the institution into a work that functions as a palimpsest through which to show his works, re-proposing for the occasion an early work recontextualised in the exhibition space and a new version of his works made with dust. Likewise, it will use the space outside the PAC and the catalog as a further expansion of the exhibition.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\">The project will also extend to the city of Milan along two lines: a selection of works by the artist, curated by Giovanni Iovane, will be installed inside the fascinating museum complex of the Cloisters of Sant&#8217;Eustorgio &#8211; one of the oldest basilicas in Milan founded in the 4th century &#8211; while the installation <em>Wide City<\/em> (1998), acquired by the Municipality of Milan in 2004, will be set up for the first time at the Museum of the twentieth century.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><figure class=\"wp-block-image
